GMP training is a regulatory requirement mandatory for both manufacturers and marketing authorization holders.

All personnel working in a GMP environment should be aware of the GMP requirements affecting them and shall receive initial and continuous training. Besides basic training personnel shall receive appropriate training for their duties and work area.

To ensure that adequate initial and continuous training is performed and understood the manufacturer or marketing authorization holder must put in place a well-structured system for managing and administrating GMP training including planning, designing, executing, documenting and following up training.
